The Earth, Oceans, and Light

From whence forth the anvil hammered
A budding rose crafted from silver ambers, trembling in its craftsman's hands
That shown itself from beyond the cracks of earthly reality
For us to marvel at Its feet,
Solemn to the misery of one voice, it withered dry and brown
But how splendid it rejoiced of the other,
Of purple glow and golden lights well endowed
Stone pillars dressed in greens that danced before my eyes
Like satin robes and sunlit beams

Without shadows, without darkness to face or fear to know or bring you down
The sweeter sugars, and rarest spices come to you to be known
The longest gaze most easily forgotten graces your senses from head to toe,
From blindness to insight, from never to forever, from darkness to light
From the void, formed and ready to be known

My sweet water,
I walk upon it as though wooden planks had been stretched from under my feet
I find myself on deck prepared to set sail,
My mast set straight ahead for the golden light
My sail bulging with the earth's wisdom; love and foresight
Mystical stars, celestrial whores painted in blurs, flickers and scars
Outpour their light upon us forever now and forever more

Sparkling eyes, alive with the light of life indeed
Knowing no deceit or untimely message,
All has its place,
All has its time
And all has its need
