When the angel is laughing softly
And the demon's cry is growing
When the leopard leaps from the lion's eye
But gnash out not at the growling guise
What terrible growling trampled in sighs says he
As the rain is falling from the sky but reaches not the waiting sea
And the hands out-reach the darkness
One hundred times divided by pie added to three
When the prophet sees the future
When the wizard casts a spell
And these eyes are fixated on this picture
At the hands of a terribly orchestrated tale
When the earth quakes
When the thunder cries
When the emotion spills
From your eyes
You will be the madman's eyes on the world
The vampire's bite onto a wretch tormented in turmoil
And pale
When the fortress sleeps
And bones; burnt and buried beneath the soil
Come to foil the failing sigh waiting to prevail
